| "Exciting" is one word which could be used
to describe the sound of Luciano and the Movados. Luciano, The Leader, is well known throughout Asia and Europe, where he has appeared in leading Clubs and Hotels, and his fame as a talented guitarist has travelled far. In addition he plays ten other instruments and sings in seven languages, and is rapidly gaining popularity in Australia. The Movados, well known in this country as a Latin American trio prior to joining up with Luciano, consist of Miguel, (Piano, Organ and Accordion), Leo (Guitar and Bass), and Pedro (Drums and Bongos). On one of their many visits to Melbourne for personel and television appearances, Luciano and The Movados were heard by W & G Record Company and were invited to record this album and we know that all lovers of Latin American who hear it will immediately think of the first word we mentioned, "Exciting". |
