For the first time in Australia, here the musical talents of the Italian Community are exhibited on record in an entertaining and sparkling showcase of carefully selected songs and music.
Most of the songs on this LP are already familiar to fans of Italian popular music, but until now, not readily accessible.
This musical panorama has been superbly compiled by the producer Enzo Giribaldi, in response to constant requests to allow some of the fine musicians of Australia to demonstrate their world class ability.
In my opinion this record represents a highly successful musical break-through and the producer and the artists are to be commended for this "first"; particularly for the spirit of enterprise which now gives us hours of delightful musical entertainment.
"FESTIVAL ITALIANO" is musically outstanding, not only by its very excellent musical content, but for the spirit which motivated its creation.
