The Palermo Brothers |
| For years the colorful evangelistic team
of Phil and Louis Palermo has dreamed of doing a religious musical album
in Italian. It was their hope to reach not only hundreds of thousands of
Italian-Americans with their song and testimony, but also many
additional thousands in Italy. Their goal seems assured wtih this
beautiful and unusual album. The Palermos reside in Minneapolis, Minn., but their evangelistic pastorate is the world. They travel extensively throughout the U. S. every year and have made numerous tours abroad, including Italy which they visited in 1947 as official representatives of Youth For Christ. They also have appeared on a number of occasions with Billy Graham. Louis and Phil were born in the U. S., the sons of Antonio and Josephine Palermo, with whom they are pictured on the front cover of this album. They early received the message of the gospel from their uncle, Ben Palermo. In accepting Christ, the brothers dedicated their lives to bringing that message to the Youth of the World. INNI E CANTICI SPIRITUALE Luigi e Filippo Figli di Antonio E. Poi da giovani, hanno dedicato le lore vite per portare il messaggio del l'evangelo hai giovani di tutto il mondo. Nel 1947 sono andate in Italia, rapresentando il movimento evangelico "Gioventu per Cristo." Le Fratelli Palermo hanno cantato diversi volte con Billy Graham evangelisto internazianale. Io non caccero fuori colui che viene a me. Poiche iddio ha tanto amato il mondo, che ha dato il suo unigenito figliuolo, affinche chiunque crede in lui non perisca, ma abbia vita eterna (Giov. 3:16).
