FERRUCCIO TAGLIAVINI
He was born at Reggio Emilia, is married to Pia Tassinari and, contrary
to most other singers, became a singer due to the insistence and
encouragement of
his parents.
Under the patronage of Maestro Branucci at the Parma Conservatorium,
after some years of study he won the highest scholarship at the National
Concourse of Florence, eventually completing his studies under the
guidance of the great singer and teacher, AMEDIO ROSSI.
In 1938 he had his first success at the COMUNALE of Florence in "La
Boheme," being the first of many that he repeated subsequently in all
the leading
theatres of Italy and overseas. |
